the story of master organ builder Charles Fisk, and the journey of a single pipe organ,

Opus 139, from design to inauguration at Memorial Church, Harvard, in 2012.

Rhonda Sider Edgington, clinician presents . . .

   “Through pictures, videos, and recordings of historic organs in Germany, Rhonda Edgington talks about the years she spent

studying organ in North Germany.  More than just a travelogue of places seen and organs played, or an academic discussion of stop lists and dates,

Rhonda combines these things with a discussion of how she changed as a player as a result of her time spent in Germany,

and also a broader look at the question of why and how European study is still important and beneficial.”

   The event will be free and open to the public.

Tuesday, May 10, 2016 - Annual Meeting and Banquet with Installation of Elected

at Harmony Hall, 1400 Fulling Mill Road, Middletown. The evening will begin with a

social hour from 6:00-7:00 PM and be followed by dinner at 7:00.

The Lower Dauphin String Quartet will provide musical entertainment.

2015 Mid-Atlantic Regional Competition for Young Organists Winner

Jeremy Jelinek in recital

Jeremy Jelinek is a student of David Higgs at the Eastman School of Music, winner of the

Carol Teti Memorial Organ Competition at Indiana University of Pennsylvania,

the local competition in Pittsburgh, and the 2015 Mid-Atlantic Regional Young Organists’ Competition

in 2015. He has been a church musician for eleven years and he’s only 19 years old now.

He also holds the Colleague certificate from the AGO, something he attained at age 15.

We will feature Jeremy in a rising star recital underwritten by the Clapper—Frysinger Fund.
